They just showed a kid that looks just like Eason on the big board at the Braves game. If that was him his gf/sister or whatever has a nice rack.

ahh yes, the time honored tradition of Georgia settling for 3 star receivers instead of going after the big fish. This year is Reggie Davis' breakout year, I just know it.

not piggybacking the negative nancy but I do wonder if this means either Kyle Davis or Mecole have told us they definitely aren't coming.

We're taking 4-5 receivers so there's still plenty of room.

We need many bodies at that position. I would be surprised if Hardman and Davis aren't both a part of this class come signing day

We can/will still make rooms for Hardman, Davis, Woerner, and Robinson if all of them want to come. WR is a position at which we need both quality and numbers.

Guys, let's be honest here, our receiving corps is nowhere where it needs to be. Other teams from a physical standpoint have much, much better talent. We seem to always take guys who are considered projects or who have great upside and they rarely work out. Bennett and Conley were solid guys but they weren't game changers who scared anyone, however they were DGD'S and I thank them for that. For every one of these 3 star guys that work out, there are twice as many Blake Tibbs and Sanford Seay type players.

This was partly Tony Ball's fault for being a terrible recruiter, and I was hoping McClendon could generate more interest from top tier guys. Im not saying this kid will be bad, just that we've taken too many chances settling on three star guys.

3 stars commit early. 4 and 5 stars, not so much. Imo.

that seems to be the case, so let's put our energy into one or two game changers and take a chance we could land guys who make a difference. Guys that D-coordinators have to plan for.

I think they are coming. We land Mecole and Kyle Davis, we will have done well this year.

I don't disagree, but I'm not sure that applies to this case. UGA is taking at least 5 WRs and a couple ATH types. They're not all going to be top 100 guys. The two commits are fringe 3/4* types, then you have big fish still out there. Davis, Woerner (ATH), Hardman (ATH), Robertson, Simmons, Swain, Victor, etc. are all still being heavily pursued by UGA, but it would be irresponsible to count on filling 5-7 spots with those guys.

Terry Godwin?
Stanley?
iMac?
Shak Williams?

All 4 or 5 star receivers in just the past two years alone. Post less.

We currently lead for 3

Kyle Davis - 4* and #4 WR in the nation
Mecole Hardman - 4* #2 Ath in the nation
Charlie Woerner 4* #19 WR in the nation

Just do a little research on our class and prospects before sounding like an uninformed simpleton next time.

We are getting Mecole. You can chalk that one up.
