It's Carvell and the AJC, , but there's a video link with an interview with Chuma. Says the only two officials he will take in the fall are USCw and UGA.

LINK

Despite the pessimism that oozes from my pores I still think we can flip this kid.

There's still genuine interest from Edoga. If he was just taking OVs to see different places, he wouldn't be taking one to UGA. He has welcomed UGA continuing to recruit him.

Jake Rowe thinks UGA will send him a LOI no matter what, so UGA must think they still have a decent shot

Is Chuma an EE or will he go to NSD?

The door is definitely cracked, but I honestly don't even care. We are in on other guys I'd rather have and I think will be better OTs. I don't think he is going to flip anyway and with our supposedly small numbers for OL in this class, I'd rather concentrate on guys like Allen and Prince or the JUCO in AZ.

I think we take the first 3 (including Seymour) and then push for Edoga all the way to NSD. If he flips, we'll take 4. If not, stick with 3 unless there's unexpected attrition

Why would you rather have Allen than Edoga?

Patrick is pretty much guaranteed to be a Dawg.

Also, as much as I like Allen, Edoga is clear-cut better prospect, imo.

I don't think Chuma has a very high ceiling. He is an instant impact guy that can play OT and I'd love to have if numbers allow for it, but in the long run, I agree with crit...he is a Guard.

Both Allen and Prince have a higher ceiling and are honestly the two I want to get along with flipping Minshew.

I hope we take more OL than that, but it sounds like it could be a smaller class. OLine needs the same treatment that secondary is getting.

All we friggin get is guards.

Still, I rather go shotgun blast, with a skeet choke, when it comes to recruiting OL.

I know man, our OL has Guards on Guards on Guards.

IMHO, we have 3, maybe 4, actual OTs on the team. One will never play because of injury (Ward), one is just not any good apparently (Debell), one is very good and poised to be a star (Theus), and one is a "what the hell are we doing?" project recruit (Bynum). All the rest are road-grader RTs at best, but probably better off at OG.

I love our OL recruiting this year, but have hated it in the past. Friend is all over the nation though and much earlier on most of these guys than he has been in the past. Really need to get Minshew flipped (and/or Warmack) and get the ball rolling on some OL though. Allen is in Athens this weekend though and there is a thought he could possibly commit.

Allen seems a little more raw than Edoga. I just think that at some point Georgia is going to have to start signing more of these higher rated o-linemen.

He is more raw, but IMO his potential is much greater. UGA does need to sign some of them, but OL is one position I'm not so worried, especially in a year like this when there are no elite, instant impact, high potential guys other than Ivey. At least not yet.

Allen is not visiting this weekend. Not sure where that rumor started, but he's trying to visit soon

It was someone reporting it wrong. They heard the he is visiting part, but not the "soon" part. Regardless, when he visits, I wouldn't be surprised if he commits. Especially if he brings family with him.

Per Ryan Bartow at 24/7, Juwan Taylor an ILB from Hallandale, Fl. will decide soon. Ryan just put a Crystal Ball down for UGA. Bartow is pretty plugged in down in Florida. He is the guy that called Isaiah McKenzie to UGA before anyone else had a clue that McKenzie even had an official offer.

That's interesting. We must have seen him live this spring for him to have a commitable offer. I don't really know anything about him other than watching highlights

I also don't love early commitments from south Florida kids, but hey, I suppose it's better than him committing somewhere else
