There was something with his dad that people said was an issue at the time, but I don't think it really is. What actually happened is likely what happened to most high level DL we went after like him: Garner started recruiting him. There was no quicker way for us to get knocked completely out of the race for a recruit.
Would like to see a bit more effort from the current staff to get back in on him or another top guy. Not overly enamored with the 4 it appears we'll have right now. Love Thompson and Rivers, but not as thrilled with the other two.

(Basketball) Al Horford's brother, Jon, is transferring from Michigan and will be able to play immediately. Maybe the coaches can pitch being in the same state as his brother and get him in the red and black.

Yeah, apparently we've gone from being second behind UT, to third behind SC, Stanford and ahead of UT. This weekend could be huge for his recruitment. The kid seems to change his mind as often as he changes his socks. Also says he has a better relationship with Friend than any other coach. FYI.

He would be a great get, but we can't take him unless we process someone. I don't even remember how we were able to take 2 this class.
