Screw Montavious (sp?), screw Kamara, screw Nkemdickey, screw Turnstile, and every one else of those morons that chose lesser schools/programs.

Don't want 'em. Seriously.

Sucks they didn't choose us, but I have a really had time saying screw __________ (fill in the blank with an 18 year old kid.) They may have made decisions they regret, and some may not understand the term "commitment", but I'm pretty sure you can't fault 18 year olds for some of the decisions they make, especially if parents push them in a certain direction.

I'm pretty sure you can.

Screw 'em.

I could never tell why anyone thought Kamara would be a difference maker in college ball. He's a division 1 player, but not a superstar. Every team in the SEC has guys like that. Overrated two years ago and still is.

Remember when Nkemdicky was the next Clowney? I hope he enjoyed the 5 weeks of fame at Old Piss because they'll crawl back to mediocrity next season

Jackson was initially scheduled to take his official visit to LSU on Jan. 23. As of now, it appears that plan will unfold as initially planned.

"I'm still going to visit LSU on Jan. 23. I don't want people to read too much into that. I'm a man of my word and I've given Frank Wilson and Corey Raymond my word that I would be there, so I'm going to be there."

That was kind of my thought.

I don't think we get him - but I do appreciate the effort.

hmmm....reading that through my red and black colored glasses I would say that bodes very well for us.

And then I think about what he tweeted a short time back about how he was not a lock to LSU, which makes me think he just wants to keep everyone guessing.

At the end of the day, if he's meant to be a Dawg, he will be.

and even then an LSU degree is still a college degree with value attached.

Exactly. Businesses don't make a decision based upon whether someone went to Georgia or LSU. They make it based on if they went to Stanford, Harvard, Yale etc. There simply isn't enough difference in Georgia and LSU, Ole Miss or Auburn. We might make a big deal about it on the Rant, but businesses will not see a difference unless you are talking about an elite education.

Jarvis Jones didn't choose the dawgs initially and was a beast, leader, DGD and Gator killer for all time.

But yea, screw him.

Jarvis Jones SINGLEHANDIDLY turned the tide in the series against the Gators. Won 2 games almost by himself in Jacksonville. He'll go down in my top 10 DGD list no matter where he originally signed

We consistently have the most scholar football athletes and LSU consistently has the fewest scholar athletes
well this is flat out false

if I was a parent and had a kid being offered a full ride id tell him/her there's no way in hell youre wasting your golden ticket on LSU, Auburn or Ole Miss. If you blow your knee out you need a solid backup plan. Not that those schools aren't ok but you wanna put yourself in the best position to be competitive if the football thing doesn't work.
I'd be willing to bet that having gone to LSU will help a kid from New Orleans more than a degree from UGA would in that instance.

I know it has probably been stated multiple times in this thread, but I really don't feel like sifting through the pages to find the answer; but what position are we projecting Jackson to play? I checked him out on ESPN and 247 he is listed as an athlete and on Rivals he is listed as a CB.

Either way, it seems like the guy should be able to contribute early in some capacity.

think Adoree Jackson. he is an elite CB, but can be used as a situational WR and a kick returner as well
