I try. oh, and can we get an IDPF?

Elijah Hood, RB out of NC is very high on us in an interview he just gave with ESPN. He hasn't even visited yet and we are in his top 2 or 3 with North Carolina in the lead. Also I saw in an interview with Chubb that the coaches told him that we only want to take 2 RBs this year, so that makes it interesting on who we will get and who will get left out. Obviously Michel is the top target and he is deciding soon so that will dictate what we do pretty heavily.

Got a feeling if Michel commits that Chubb won't be far behind. Should be set at RB for a long time.

I would be more than happy with Michel and Chubb. I really hope those are the two we get

I'll be honest, I'd rather have hood than Michel. But that's just me.

Hood is definitely gonna be a beast, as a junior he's at 215 already and runs very hard. That said I still like Michel over him. Unless something crazy happens we should have one hell a running back recruiting class, makes me happy we didn't take Kamara so we have a little more flexibility. Anybody else feel that way about Kamara now?

Kamara is a special player, so I won't go that far. He is a dynamic, shifty runner who can line up multiple places on offense.
With all that said, I agree UGA will end up with 2 top tier backs. The question is who? The consensus seems to be Michel and Chubb, but who really knows in today's era of recruiting.

Deans column...
No April Fools - Russell Commits to Dawgs
But his commitment to Georgia is no joke. The Carrollton defensive tackle committed to Chris Wilson and Mark Richt today, saying that he didn’t want to be anywhere else after he was done with high school football.
“I just felt like that was the place I wanted to be after high school, so I committed,” he said. “It was peaceful for me up at Georgia.”
Russell’s commitment is Georgia’s fourth for the class of 2014. But he’s a significant one as he’s Georgia’s highest-rated commit so far. He said that he felt very comfortable in Athens, which led to the commitment.
“I went up there and was talking with Chris Wilson. I saw that everything was cool there. I felt like it was the place I was most comfortable at,” he said. “I felt really good about Coach Richt. I didn't know much about Mark Richt, but he is a really cool person. He cares about things other than football. He talks about stuff other than football, and that's a good thing.”
Russel said he’s not too concerned about making a decision about recruiting this early in the process.
“I asked everyone – I talked with my coaches and parents – and they all thought it was a good decision,” he said. “Its not an April Fool's Joke at all.”
Russell said his commitment to Georgia made Richt very happy – as would be expected.
“I called Coach Wilson and Coach Richt to commit,” he said. “Coach Richt just said it was awesome. He told me that I made his day.”
