re: 2013 UGA Football recruiting thread

Considered to be the best interior lineman to come out of the South in 3 years and he completely abused Nkemdiche in camp. Definitely a kid you want on our side.

And, in the event henry flips, that's one more person to convince Tyren jones to flip to us.

If we lose Henery, we likely lose a big piece in getting Tunsil. So, lose Henry and Tunsil, possibly gain Kamara, T. Jones, and we're still in it for Reuben.

I think it has to do more with a.) Jones is in the thick of Cobb COunty UGA country, and b.) Bama has a frickton of RB depth already. Add a guy like Henry who very adamantly said he has never played LB and never wants to, and it just seems logical that Jones make a switch over if Henry goes to Bama. That's not to say UGA doesn't also have a lot of depth, but given the opportunit to play at both schools, why pick one with a logjam at RB when a comparable school has less of a line to the front? Nothing much to base it on except rumors and logical deduction (god knows logic isnt very reliable in recruiting, though)

As for Kamara, I'd never discount BooBoo using him as a RB (see Thomas, Carlton) but he definitely seems like a guy you put out there as a slot guy. Maybe even just to have him as an athlete

They're not, TJ stated that we're taking another RB in this class, and has no problem with it.

I had a Rivals sub when he committed, so I cant access the article. You're more than welcome to look in our recruiting thread I'm sure it's in there. Or you can ask anyone in our fanbase.

He's the reason why we know we're trying to take 3 RB's in this class. Everybody assumed it was going to be 1-2 considering the RB haul we had last year. Jones is the only reason that we know we're taking three this class. Not everybody was happy when they heard it.

Tenpenny committed before Jones did, so Jones has always been expecting one more. He was told before he committed we were taking 3. Not sure why you think it's shakey.

Not sure if that's the only reason or even the primary reason. I know he has interest in UGA, but I think he's on record as saying that Bama's reputation recently for putting backs in the league and how much he loved the campus and program were the primary factors in his decision.

Do you expect Henry to stay at RB wherever he goes? I don't, so in my mind it wouldn't affect Jones at all.
