Foster may transfer again. FWIW.

Well then you might find yourself crying on NSD

If he does, then I think that just furthers the point that the locale of his new HS has nothing to do with where he's going to end up. He just wants to end up with Flowers (which benefits UGA)

Which is what a lot of people don't realize, the biggest threat is UGA.

I like this whole "report all speculation" type recruiting news...made the thread blow up a couple of pages.

Never said I believe much of that, just that those are the rumors. If you don't think every school in the SEC does some off-kilter stuff every now and then on the recruiting trail, you're flat lying to yourself. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if some members of the Auburn coachign staff were trying to pull strings to get Reuben in prime position for the taking (and, quite frankly, I wouldn't blame them. It'd piss me off because he wouldn't end up at UGA, but if the NCAA isn't going to police it, then why not do what you have to do to get what I consider to be the #1 player in the country?)

Not under the illusion that shady recruiting doesn't exist. I just wanted to tie you into BlueTuna with my post.
BTW of course there are rumors. They are the ones that usually happen when a school is in the mix that was thought to not have a chance. I would love AU to get Foster not only for his talent, but to watch the meltdown.
I will also add I think it is highly unlikely that happens.

If Flowers pulls the strings and wants Foster at UGA, wouldn't he have committed to UGA instead of Bama in the first place?

I'm all out of tinfoil though

If UGA doesn't get him, I'd prefer him go to AU just so Bama doesn't stockpile on EVERYONE

Heat of the moment type thing when he committed to Bama. Remember, he almost committed to UGA a week before.

Never said Flowers pulls the strings, just that he is a major factor and really likes and respects Richt for who he is and the way he handled Bruce Figgins. Reuben already likes UGA and has an attachment with Tray matthews and Shaq Wiggins. Just saying, Flowers could be the needed push to get him there.
As for Foster committing to Bama, I was always told that Foster almost commit to UGA last Dawgnight, decided to hold off, went to Bama on Sunday and was pressured into a commit by Saban. Probably just the story with a heavy UGA slant on it, but...

Here's a twist on the BIG NEWS:
Herschel or Hines coming back to join the staff. Idk... If Herschel joins the Strength Staff, I think that'd be about as amazing as getting Foster or Tunsil or MA

My guess is Hines based on his comments from not too long ago.
Posted on 5/22/12 at 4:33 pm to RockyMtnTigerWDE
Yeah, but Hines also said he's probably going to go into Media first and come back as a GA once he feels he can commit more of himself to the time it takes to be a recruiter and all that.
Herschel seems like a no-brainer in the weight room

But seriously, he could be an awesome recruiter for UGA. I'd piss my pants in excitement and terror if he was my S&C coach
Posted on 5/22/12 at 4:55 pm to The Nino
I'd like to see the looks on all the UGA players' faces when Herschel tells them they're required to do 1,000 pushups and situps every morning when they wake up and only eat 1 meal a day

Summer Workouts will now consist of drug muling. This teaches our guys mental fortitude and how not to get caught with a bag of weed or cocaine shoved up his rectum
