Psh...fact of the matter is that they like to play around and talk about playing together, but both will more than likely stick to their commitments.

Yeah, Henry to UGA is all but assured now. He grew up in Cobb County...Dawg Territory.

Both Henry's wont be?

Derrick most likely will not be. Apparently plans to ride with hsi coach up to Athens fell through per LHB. Don't think we have much to worry about here though.

The same guy who told me last week that Reggie Carter was going to commit to us texted me this morning and said Josh Cardiello is getting close as well.

That would certainly allow the OL dominoes to start falling an would be a huge pick up. Can't wait for G-Day

Cardiello is real close; won't make it to G-Day but will visit the week after and could really pull the trigger anytime between now and then.

Well, here's a nice little Wednesday morning boost.
This is of course all speculative so don't hold me to this as fact. But that same guy from before just told me some interesting news. He works with Reggie Carter's mom (I think it's his mom), that's how he knew RC was going to commit to us. Anyways, he just told me that she said South Gwinnett coaches told her that Grayson coaches are under the impression that RN is down to 2 schools: Georgia...and LSU.

He sent a text to one of the recruiting guys that he wouldn't be able to make it to G-Day but would be in Athens the following week...maybe things will change but at this point it looks like he won't be there.

Looks like Socrates thinks we could get Henry this week, or at least be named his clear leader.

A few random posters here and there claiming to be close to the situation have said that the family RN stays with and some of the asst coaches at Grayson are pro-UGA. One guy even said RN's family did not appreciate the negative recruiting by Bama. I think it's all smoke and mirrors and that he's as Bama as Bear Bryant, but it's nice to see a poster I trust with this type of information. Makes me wonder.

Yeah, me too. Guy has been all bama for like a year. And again, don't hold me to that if he goes to bama..I'm just passing along what a guy told me. He's not some recruiting guru either, just a dude who works with someone's mom. I'm not putting a lot of stock into it, but it gets me a little hopeful anyway. Maybe our chances for RN went from 1% to 3% ha.

If we did somehow pull RN out of our arse, RF would flip eventually. Then we'd be singing a whole different tune for the next few years
