I think his mom is playing a key role in his recruitment after reading this info. I know after the shootings at Auburn happened she was very upset about it and now to see how involved she is with this trip I like how the ball is rolling so far. He still says he prefers a 4-3 defense though so we'll see. With the barn up in flames right now I believe it's us and Clem$on.

Anyone know how Nkemdiche's visit went? I know he was pretty much there to watch his brother, that might have even been 100% of the reason why he was there. But I'm sure his mom liked Richt and the atmosphere and I know he likes Richt as well. Anyone heard anything positive? We probably don't have a shot in hell but if there's anything that got him wondering if he's solid to Clem$on then I'll take it. TIA

Her mom loved it. She had questions and apparently those were answered. We are very much in play for Adams.

Here's the AJC article with MA's momma's quotes for those who missed it...

"They told me they want me to come in there and play anything up to a nine technique in their defense. I really like that," said Adams. "They say I can play any of the positions up front. I mean, I prefer a 4-3 defense, but I know they aren't that different. It is about half and half in the NFL, so I know I need to know how to play both."
I like this pitch that we threw at him. Really helps if he knows he'll be able to play anywhere on our line, IMO.

Plus, with Jenkins a likely 1st/2nd round pick and Abry Jones a potential 3rd-5th round pick, we've put a lot of linemen in the NFL under Richt...much more than Clemson.

He signed an LOI last year but didn't qualify and had to go to prep school. New year, new LOI, he is no longer committed to Auburn and it seems that UGA leads.

Regarding Adams, the fact that the bagmen from da Barn and Clempsun have basically told him they'd do "whatever it takes", which means they'll come up with the right sum of money, that was a big turn off for Adams. He is a good kid who wants to do things the right way. You can tell by the interview and the value he puts in his mother's opinion that he is not one to be won over by money. I feel very confident he'll end up in Athens.

A little birdie (a regular poster on these boards) told me some news. Apparently we're gonna get a commitment on the offensive side of the ball on Friday. Don't know how true it is but could be some good news.

Could be Kamara or Rumph (JUCO WR). Possibly JaQuay but I'm pretty sure he wants to take a few visits before he decides.

Coach McClendon is doing a hell of a job on the recruiting trail I think he can sell UGA to any recruit in the country

Could the Dawgs Pull a shocker and get 3 5stars on NSD? That would be

“Coach Richt said a lot of nice things to my brother,” Robert said. “It was very classy. I’m not surprised at all by Coach Richt doing that because he’s such a great dude and such a classy dude.”
What about Robert? What did Richt say to Robert when he had a chance to talk to him as a recruit at the game? “He told me to keep Georgia on my mind, and he’d love for them to have a chance at me.”

Would Nkemdiche seriously consider UGA? “I don’t know. I’m not going to say much about that. Georgia is really good school and who knows? Georgia is a good school.”
