There's a story on Scout about a surprise from Vonn Bell. Anybody know what's going on there? Do we have a pretty good chance of getting this kid?

Don't think we're really a factor with Bell.

Some dude on 247 (poster, not a staff member) said UGA made a HUGE pick up this past weekend...maybe we got lucky as frick? I doubt it, but it'd be awesome. We might lose Nick Glass, though.

If we bring in Matthews, Bell, Bostick, and Mauger then I think it's at least 50/50 that Glass decommits.

Nick Glass tweeted out this past week that he will be a UGA signee in 2014. I would imagine the coaches have talked to him to assure him that he would have a spot at safety. If Vonn Bell decided that he would come to UGA, I would think that he is athletic enough to move to a corner spot. If Sanders Commings is a corner as big as he is, Vonn would be a good one too.

Bostick is commit #25 for the 2013 class.

Go Dawgs.

Oh and if LSU can bring back mathieu then I see no reason why commit 26 can't be da crow

For all the guys worrying about the number of Safety commits and how it applies to Nick Glass; Rusty of Dawgs247 just said that he would not count out Paris Bostick growing into a college LB. He is 6'1 220 already.

According to some sites, look for UGA to have 27 before the week is out. 30 before the season starts.

Woods on Thursday and Fluker sometime later in the week is what most people thin.

Would nut if we got this guy. If I have a man crush on anyone in this class it's this kid.

He lives about 40 minutes away from me (just outside of Chattanooga). I'm definitely going to go watch him play this year for the hell of it. Our local teams suck so it'll be worth the drive. We haven't had a great centerfield type FS like this in a long time. Rambo and Reshad Jones are similar but more physical and not as fast. Bell glides through the secondary and makes reads better than any high schooler I've seen on film. I don't think he'll be a corner JStan because he's too good at what he does but that is a good point.

Reminds me of Eric Berry but doesn't hit as hard. Once he gets a pick, watch out because he has the ability to return everything to the house. If I had to think of the best comparison I would have to say Deon Grant for the Vols about a decade or so ago. Similar size and ball skills.

And hell yeah on Bostick. Let's keep it rolling.

Can someone explain the star position? I've seen tweets about it but don't know what it is.

Nobody really knows and Grantham isn't going to reveal too much. But from what I can gather it is a way of getting Josh Harvey Clemons on the field more. Its really an underneath cover guy/rover.
