Thanks man Her dad graduated From UF back in the 80's and her whole family lives down there. So I get my fair share of crap from them on a weekly basis. However, they're all from germany and England, so they usually buy me or make me really good beer to show they're just kidding (European football and cricket people more than College Football)

She brought up a good point: If we got married the Friday ebfore the game, then every few years our anniversary would fall on gameday, and given our recent history against UFag (no offense, DMB), that could end up being one bummer of an anniversary.

Four years. Took her to her first college football game back in 08. She's been there for the Bama Blackout and for this past year's Cocktail Party. Jacksonville weekend is now her favorite of every year

DeZeier, I've been living with my girlfriend for 4 years and we've been together for 5...it's all about tempering expectations.

Kind of depends on when you started dating age wise and where you both are in maturity. I knew about a year or two ago that she was the one, it's just I wanted to graduate Bachelors first and be able to afford the ring before I made that commitment. It's perfectly fine to talk about it and think about heading in that direction after 18 months. But you shouldn;t pull the trigger until you're ready from a mental and financial standpoint. If she can't understand that reasoning then she may not be right.
