And he's awesome because he went to Wesleyan.
In all seriousness if he was an inch taller and a step or two quicker he would have been a top rated linebacker coming out of high school. He can hit and has great instincts, just wasn't athletic enough to play inside, especially with our depth there.

also from Bellamy.....
CTG is da' frickin' man...

quote:
The sales pitch has been simple – yet masterfully calculated. If you can play, no matter your strength, Grantham will find a way to employ you. And he’s been hitting it off with recruits in the film room by being both optimistic and brutally honest...
His recent film study partner – Chamblee High senior Davin Bellamy, who visited Athens Thursday – was impressed with the approach...
“Coach Grantham had my film cut up with some of the things I did best,” Bellamy said. “Then it would go into things I needed to work on – like using my hands more...
“We spent about an hour and 15 minutes just watching film on Jarvis Jones and (Dallas Cowboy’s linebacker) DeMarcus Ware. He had the red laser pointing at the screen. I really felt like we bonded in a big way – Coach Grantham and me.”
“(Grantham) told me that I could rush the passer, drop back in coverage or play up on the line,” Bellamy said. “He told me I could be diverse in their defensive scheme. To me that told me that I could play early, especially with my skill set.”

I wonder if Grantham has had this talk with Reuben Foster yet? He will be in town this weekend right? I would love for Grantham to sit down and do the same thing with Foster...
It seems every kid that leaves after talkng to Grantham raves about how impressed they were. Grantham can really talk football with these kids...

Between Grantham and Olivadotti, they have 25 years of NFL experience coaching the front 7 and have done an impressive job. They have coached up some of the best out there.

Also, Trey and Kamara are not there as planned. Trey is at home mowing the lawn per his twitter. Kamara was at Clemson yesterday after being at FSU earlier this week. So while that sucks, it's a good sign that Reuben went even without Trey and Alvin being there

This is why Trey isn't there:
