shite, that was hard.
8-5 sounds a lot better than 7-6.

Jimbo seems to think Mond is the best QB ever. Since Mond thinks he's the best QB in the SEC maybe he'll declare for the draft.

Mond is terrible. I’m willing to bet that we don’t win more than nine next year

When Jimbo lets Mond run he has more success. Not sure why they are always so hesitant to use one of his best abilities.

Lack of confidence in Calzada, Blumrick and Foster in the event of an injury.

Hopefully having King and an improved Calzada waiting in the wings will alleviate that feeling.

What I don't get (and I'm willing to admit this may be partly my imagination) is that Kellen has come out to start multiple games sailing the ball badly. Then comes halftime and apparently Jimbo jacks him up, and he's otherworldly in the 2nd half. My question is why doesn't Jimbo scream at him BEFORE the game?

Let me put it in military terms.

A squad leader (Staff Sergeant) has one Soldier in his squad that's just a total fricking dumbass and has to be told what to do again and again and again. Every day, that Staff Sergeant wakes up thinking, "This time it will be different. I've given him the proper guidance and training. He won't frick the same thing up today." Then he proceeds to frick it up and, after corrective training, fixes it. It only gets better when that Soldier PCS'es or ETS'es.

The newest rumors is that Mond is hurt, including a shoulder injury. If so, that would explain the overthrows. I guess we will see in the Spring

He may be hurt but he’s been randomly sailing passes for 3 years

Yes, but Mond essentially sailed anything that wasn't behind the line of scrimmage

That's really not out of the norm for him though. Continually throwing high passes is what put us in such a hole vs Clemson earlier this year.
