We’re the better team outside of kicking
They just didn’t show up in the biggest game all year. I’d say it was surprising but they didn’t show up first half against South Carolina either. Or first half against State. The defense never showed up against Arkansas which was the only team with an offensive pulse we played after notre dame where they didn’t show up either.
This is just who they are. They would need to show up in the playoffs as a totally different team so if im Elko i’d look long and hard at playing some new players and i don’t care if it makes guys transfer. We aren’t going to win a playoff game if we don’t get better (real playoff game, 11 and 12 seed dont count)

All the Heisman garbage and thinking they’ve done something needs to stop until we hold up a national championship trophy. These are professional players now and the only silver lining to tonight is hopefully they know now they aren’t shite and they can try to prove something in the playoffs without all the endless talk of “haven’t beat superior school XYZ since 19XX, how do you feel about that?”

We’re not gonna do all that.
This team is a good team, and they’ve earned their playoff spot. There’s clearly holes that may cost them in the playoffs if they don’t tighten up. But what I’m not gonna do is belittle this team that accomplished so much and earned their post season berth just cause I’m upset about losing to a rival. Yeah it sucks, no denying that.
Reset and get ready for a home playoff game at home. Nothing else you can do now but that, and go make a great run and cap off what has been a fantastic season to watch as a fan

I checked out two years ago when my granddad passed away but was all in once again after seeing what this team had been doing all season, then shite the bed against tu. No one is to blame, shite happens, but damn tonight was hard for my dad and myself to watch. I truly think Elko can get this ship straight but tonight was a hard hit

Same stuff we have had issues with all year really bit us in the arse last night. Untimely illegal procedures in red zone. Tackling RBs. Field goal kicking.
Broken record but they cost us. This time we didn’t overcome these problems.
Also Arch had a good game and made us pay for mistakes on defense. Texas does have a good defense. We don’t have the power running game needed to push the defense back and open up the secondary. Not the end of the world but it does suck.

Reed has got to stop panicking in the pocket and throwing wild passes. He’s done it all year and really has gotten away with a few but last night it was crucial. 2 terrible interceptions

Reminds me of Kellen Mond. Nothing too special, but could be really solid by the end of his time.
