Anybody have any insight to how ticket sales are going for this game? Thinking about making the drive to the stadium to try and pick up some cheap seats for the game if demand is down.

I have a feeling demand will be way down. Ags are tapped out after paying for the shiney new Kyle. I willing to bet a lot of Houston Ags stay home this year since they already went to the ASU game.

I really wish this would go away. Maybe we can change the contract to once every 3 years. Kyle, Razorback, Jerryworld, etc. We'll be playing there until 2050, but at least its not every damn year.

That's not a bad idea. I don't think Jerry would go for it though. In his mind he is setting up a game that will be an Iconic yearly showdown for bragging rights like the cocktail party or the RRS

I imagine there will be a large difference in the reported attendance and actual attendance also with how the Hogs year has gone so far. I really want this game to be home and home but I think we are stuck

Me too. Don't care to go to Jerryworld at all. No atmosphere at all except an hour or so before the game. Went to Fayetteville and had a great weekend. Much rather do that.

Think there are still some tickets in 300 level through Ticketmaster. Been watching hotels in the area around the stadium. Expecting some Hog fans to cancel. if there is more than 65K actually in seats I will be surprised.

Won't work, it'll screw with conference home-away schedule balance of both teams in some years.

Maybe a better way would be

Kyle Field
Razorback Stadium
Jerry World
Jerry World
Kyle Field
Razorback Stadium
Jerry World
Jerry World
...

And so on until we complete the contract.

Same, I wish this would be a home and home.

This game is the legacy of Bill Byrne.

I say boycott and force them to make a change. We all have a vote in this.

Only way that is happening is if you are willing to pay for the buyout.

I just don't think we're going to be able to get out of this. Jones wants the game for the revenue, Arky wants the game for the D/FW exposure.

We're stuck with it for the duration of the contract.

The only revenge we can have is to beat Jerry's pigs every time!

Any idea of how many? We have to sit on the Arky side

How many... games left on the contract? It ends in 2024.

Tickets sold should have been more clear

To be fair, before we joined the sec, this was a good move. We needed the exposure and the big game too.

It made sense to have Ark on the schedule yearly. Now its a conference game we are losing.

I agree, but Byrne didn't have a crystal ball.

I wish we could do a switch with tech as another poster suggested

I would prefer to keep Tech isolated out on the llano. You would not believe the amount of billboards and ads they have in DFW right now trying to get their presence rebuilt.

Not me, a decent tech team helps TCU and Baylor from becoming too good, slows OU recruiting and helps keep the whorns in the middle of the pack.
