It's very possible, with every game that they win the players confidence grows. Hanging in and taking back the Tennessee game was huge IMO.

Georgia has already lost to KState and UT-Chattanooga at home. And they haven't beaten any notable teams this year.
We should win but we'll likely have to play better than we have the past 3 games if we want to get to 5-0.

it's a fine line. We're definitely not playing at full tilt right now. Other than Jalen, no one has been shooting particularly well yet we're finding a way anyway. We know House can go en fuego at any moment so that's sort of our ace. But we've got to come out with more fire some nights and get some easy wins because if you keep playing close ones like this, it's eventually going to bite you.

But....we've barely touched our potential - Hogg and Gilder especially. Hogg just needs a kick in the arse. He needs to work harder to find his shot and play defense. He looks effortless but I watch him at times and he's exactly that. House is out there moving to find a shot and DJ seems to be content to just let it come to him.

Gilder is different. That dude's an animal but so far he has that freshman look in his eyes. When he gets that Donald Sloan killer instinct, he's going to take off like a rocket. He's already an elite defender but he hesitates too much on offense. He's afraid to put up his shot at times and he looks to pass too much when he drives to the hole. He just needs the confidence of one big game imo

you say these like they are bad losses but they really aren't. Chattanooga is 12-3. Sure they are not an elite team but they can obviously play (they also have wins at Dayton and at Illinois),

K-State we handled easily so we give them little respect but at 11-5, their 5 losses are to us (@), UNC (neu), WVU, tu (@), and OU (@). That's 4 teams ranked in the top 15 (3 away) and a talented team away. The biggest loss in all that is 10 points to us.

I guess what I'm saying is I agree with you that UGA hasn't beaten anyone of note. But they also don't really have any bad losses.

The good sign is how well we're shooting free throws on the road. That will have to continue if we are to win on Saturday as Fox, for some reason, has Kennedy's number.

And yet somehow I read this thread and posters are complaining about how our offense sucks, our coaches suck, our players are regressing and soft, our FT shooting sucks and we aren't good enough to beat the 96 Bulls

There's a reason for this, let's see if tmc and pat know what it is.

UT must hate playing TAMU. I can count at least 3 wins off the top of my head the past two years where we stole the game late

We beat them twice in the same season on buzzer beaters from a guy who isn't on the team anymore

We also lost that crazy 4 OT game to them a couple years back

No, I say that like they prove that Georgia is nowhere close to unbeatable the home.

I don't even know what this is. Kennedy has beaten every single team in the conference except for Georgia.

At this point, it's clear you don't enjoy things. I don't mind that I do nor will I apologize for it. So please leave your straw men at the door

holy shite. missed this one. As someone who has posted total bullshite as unassailable fact on this board over and over, you really have no room to talk bro. I've given you a total pass because I'm sure you honestly believed it, but now you are taking shots at me for poking fun? LOL

Twice in 2013 (both losses)
Once in 2014 (loss)
Once in 2015 (loss)

Each time, A&M scored 53 points or fewer.

I will say though that even I'm a bit leery of some of the negativity posted here. I base mine off of past results, which, so far this season, are proving irrelevant to this current team.

yikes. We were pretty bad in 2013 though. And UGA was actually pretty good last year (they were a tourney team at least). So those aren't that surprising losses. But below 53? Whether we win or lose, I imagine we'll break that streak Saturday

I wasn't going to buy a powerball ticket before, but now I'm rethinking it after reading this.

What's so surprising about this?

I was pessimistic based off of the last four seasons (hell, the last 20) of Kennedy's teams.

My assumptions, thusfar, have been proven false.

Plus I saw Kennedy do something last night I haven't seen since he first took over and that was work the officials.

He looked angrier than I thought possible in the first quarter and was laying into someone.
