Good close, but even in victory you can see the subtleties of poor coaching. 2.1 seconds shooting FTs up one, you ALWAYS have the shooter miss. There is no difference between a two point lead and a one point lead at that point because the opponent will be heaving a 70 footer.
If you miss, the ball ends up in the hands of a big man who has time to just land and fling it. Instead we make it and call a TO allowing MSU to set up a play to try and get a much better look.
Just little things that go unnoticed by most but drive me nuts.

Also, and it worked this time, but I really hate how our go to end of half/game play is the iso for House. He's a good player, but he isn't "Give him the ball and get the frick out the way" good.
We rarely draw up real sets in those situations, we set a low screen for House and he either comes off open and shots or dribbles the clock down and wildly drives or shoots a contested jumper. Why we never go high/low with Davis in that situation is beyond me.

I'm wondering if that miracle shot by Vandy wasn't fresh in the coaches minds. Hit the FT take the timeout and pressure the ball. It worked tonight.
