Coaches really aren't good at the whole separating business and personal life thing. None of them are. The things my buddies who are coaches do with their fellow coaches... yeah, let's just say I would not be giving my co-workers that kind of blackmail material or political capital.

I think Spav and McKinney are both going to get the boot as of now. Or Spav has officially been demoted. One of the two. Something changed today.
Also note that Sumlin is in NY this week, where coaches/coordinators are notoriously interviewed for new jobs. The timing makes sense if it's about to go down.

I believe Spav's recruiting assignments are different, and it's a change that occurred recently if not today. It coincides with Sumlin leaving for NY.
I said yesterday I thought we would start to hear smoke about the job change. Nothing of substance to pray other than speculation, but I believe we are seeing a change.
I don't think Soav, McKinney, or DC are safe, although I doubt all of them are gone.

Spav has an area now. Austin.
Coordinators don't have areas.
It would seem he's at least out as OC, At least that's what Liucci is implying.

Yes I heard basically same thing.
- spav's recruiting assignments are different
- Spav, McKinney, and DC all have regional assignments, meaning we will hire a new OC
- we can't hire a new OC and maintain Spav, McKinney, and DC on staff per NCAA rules. Someone is gone, possible multiple. My guess is Spav and McKinney.
- Sumlin is in NYC....but perhaps not to find OC because he already has one, but to find a new assistant to replace McKinney? Just some speculation here
