Lost in all of this was the fact that Jay Brewer '82, who had been the voice of the Aggie Band for nearly 40 years, has retired.

He was (and is) great. Iconic voice.

They need to just use a recording of his voice for the intro. It won't be the same with a new announcer.

They really do, tbh. Even if a different voice goes through the different formations, his "Now forming at the North End of Kyle Field" needs to be saved.

If I am not mistaken it went from Haney to him. That is a lot of A&M history in those two
