Any visit this late should be worried about. With that said, if we do lose Nixon, its not the same as losing Harvey. It will suck and he is a very good player, but its not the same as losing Harvey

I'd be a little concerned. He's a solid back and it would be nice to have one in this class. We are already set for '15, but we could also grab Soso if that happens. Then you run into the same problem we have now (3 backs in the same class Williams, Williams, Carson).

I love the backs we have committed for 2015, but I really like Soso too. I wonder if we change our mind and reoffer Soso even if we don't lose Nixon. He's just too big of a talent.

I liked Nixon and would have been happy to keep him but he is probably one of our most expendable recruits, especially among the 4 Stars. We have plenty of RB talent in front and behind him and RB is probably one of the easiest positions for a true fish to contribute if need be (typically blocking is the biggest thing they have to learn because most HS RB's are feature backs if they are elite talents).

I also don't lose too much sleep on a guy that clearly had fear of the depth chart, he had been mentioning it from the moment we started getting the elite '15 guys and were after Shorter. We are going to try to recruit the best players every year and have them compete, if a kid doesn't want that then he isn't going to be happy.

I do feel like even if he came there would be a good chance he would transfer after 14 or 15 when he hadn't played much.!id like us to get a RB in this class but it's probably too late

No. I meant it that way, that was the joke. Apparently not a good one.
