I didn't say we lost the game because of OL play. The OL unit needs to keep improving with the current group we played tonight. We ran the ball much better and did not have a rash of holding calls or false starts. We need to be more consistent with the run game push. Spiller had a few excellent blitz pickups from the RB group.

If we can at least get consistent play from the OL group over the rest of the season we can support whomever is playing QB with a decent run game. We clearly have an issue at QB. I have no idea what Fisher truly believes our best QB option is after dropping the last two games.

I think we have room for optimism with the OL group. We don't have an easy fix at QB.

This years line is clearly not going to be as good as last. But your comment was “can it improve significantly over the course of the year”. It absolutely can and we saw it last year and we’ve also seen it in past years where it’s been inexperienced like it is now. I remember how much better our line got over the course of 2010 when we were inexperienced with new faces

It does appear you are correct. A massive improvement in oline play in just a week at damn near mid-season.

How do we finish?

Auto Win - PV A&M

Very Very Likely Wins - U of SC, @Mizzou

Toss Up - @Lsu, Auburn

Underdog - @Ole Miss

8-4? 9-3? Do we find a way to get to 10-2?

With Lsu in a bit of a free fall injury-wise as well as the mess with the coaches, I think we win that one.
Auburn is very up and down. Who the hell knows there.
Ole Miss just has some firepower that we can't match. We'll have to force them to play our game. Its winnbale, but going to be tough.

Ole Miss has no defense. If we continue to play at a high level, we could win. Still, one game versus the previous five doesn't really give me a lot of hope

Dont think too far down the road, lets just see what happens with Mizzou. This team has shown it has the ability to compete with anyone. One game at a time we'll find out

Like I said, we've arguably played one good game all year. So yeah, need some more evidence

I think 8-4 seems likely. I believe we will continue to get better as the season goes while still having moments where we are incredibly frustrating to watch. I would guess Auburn and Ole Miss as losses if I had to pick the two

If we beat the ever loving crud out of Mizzou I’m gonna get all excited for 10-2 and a nice bowl finishing in the top 10

I feel like that’s a reasonable expectation lol
No way we get let down

If we can get past this hangover game I think we’ll be good

What’s Jimbo’s buyout if he leaves for another school?

Jimbo isn’t leaving for another school.
Especially another SECW opponent

Do you honestly think Lsu is going to offer him 100M guaranteed? Lol

Sexton will try to talk everyone into a new deal to get his cut.

A&M isn’t reacting to this. They foresaw it and that’s why the deal got done before the season.

The only good thing if Fisher leaves would be for Pubes to have an epic temper tantrum.
