I don't really understand what you're trying to say with the geography part, if you're going to build a wall you need to do it all the way across even if the geography is tough to traverse. Rebuilding every prison in the state or southwest US is insane and expensive

I dont know who is on what side but:
Why is it always the ignorant people on my FB supporting trump? They literally take those fb posts of false stats and just drink the koolaid.

There is ignorant people on both sides. Unfortunately those ignorant people gave us Hillary vs Trump.
Anyone who didn't vote in the primaries is to blame.

i think you might be underestimating just how many "simple jack" voters made up the support of Trump. i agree that it's unlikely a wall gets built (the idea of one was just silly to begin with), and when those simple jack voters realize this they will turn on him too...especially when he's unable to follow through on the many other outlandish ideas he promised his simple jack supporters.

Have you ever started a pro-Trump or pro-Clinton thread on Facebook? No? Well then there you go. They're not like you.
In my experience most of the pro/anti-whoever posts are from people who get offended far too easily.

voted for Clinton, but this FB post from my son at Berkeley still warms my heart:
quote:
If you'd told me three years ago that I'd be sitting in a class in Berkeley getting lectured about Trump's tyranny, and every 5 minutes the (male) professor starts weeping, I'd have called you a liar! What in the world is going on? 3 classes in the last 24 hours, and 2 out of 3 professors started crying. [
completely with you. i also voted for clinton, but i'd be lying if i said i haven't been enjoying some of the ridiculous melts from sjw's. specifically millennial sjw's. there's something so off putting about super whiny entitled brats that think it's not only acceptable, but expected, to freak out and make a scene so that you will hear their goddamned opinion.

Basically the only thing keeping Democrats close in elections is they pull a large % of young voters (18-25).
I wouldn't say that demographic is the smartest of the bunch.

Not a proud workplace moment, but I once used the race card on a liberal white co-worker who tried lecturing me why it's not PC to say I was a straight male (Apparently the PC term now is cis-gender
Her speechless reaction was priceless. Sadly, I felt bad real quick and told her I was just yanking her chain almost immediately. But still...

I know everybody loves to hate on Clay Travis, but he presented these numbers today that are pretty telling:
Not all the votes have been counted, but I'll be surprised if this changes much. Short version is all the whiners whining about racist Trump voters need to go look in the mirror. Despite a larger population, HRC got significantly fewer votes than Obama in '12 and way less than Obama in '08. And you can't logically blame this on voters switching candidates: Trump also got fewer voters than Romney or McCain.
What will be fun in the next few weeks is when the media finally realizes "Oops, we fricked us" by declaring that HRC was a shoo-in.

Thanks much for this info. In 20 years when Mississippi has caught up, I'll be ready.

just learned this term from my cousin's ardcore sjw girlfriend not too long ago, and literally laughed in her face. i couldn't believe it.
i consider myself a fairly liberal person, especially when it comes to social issues, but the pendulum has swung so far to the left, in terms of "PC culture" and acceptance of certain social issues/phrases, that it's hard not to become extremely exasperated at times.

Try arguing that transgenderism is a medical condition and you'll probably end up going home on an ambulance.
