Bryce Anderson is pushing back his commitment date. I think that's good for us, considering when he first set his commit date most assumed he was picking texas.

It was a running thing about Red McCombs buying trucks for Texas recruits . I see that Bryce Anderson isn't committing July 4th now.

Got it! It'll be crazy to see what happens if it becomes wide open with the NIL

Things are looking good with Banks - will decide in a month or so and is set to attend our barbecue/pool party at the end of July - will announce shortly after. The same can be said for Anderson as well. We can continue to build the momentum. Also where Anderson is concerned, Blue appears to be on the outs down in Austin

The next few weeks will be boring for a bit after Kojo announces due to the dead period. And Fisher is apparently going to be on Safari. Things will pick back up around the end of July after the barbecue.

I actually feel that Dewberry may be the OL we miss out on because many will make their decisions before him. What if Sexton and Banks want in before the end of the Summer? Then my guess would be that Kam goes elsewhere for early PT.

Interesting. Does it seem like ppl see Sexton and Kam on similar talent level? It would be odd to see Kam go elsewhere considering the connection to K Green

And are Blue & Anderson linked somehow? Not sure if I understood your comment on that

Banks is being sold on playing time with Texas. However, I'm actually more worried about LSU and Banks than Texas. I think he will play ball in the SEC in some capacity. Texas has put virtually no offensive linemen in the NFL if you go back and look at the draft results in the past decade or so.

Though I do hear that is somehow part of their pitch - they are a little loose with the truth over there. If he was making a decision soon, it would probably be Texas, but given time to do the research and verify statements the story becomes different.

Doesn’t look like LSU is still in it for him

I expect that to change. Banks really likes the OL coach at LSU so I wouldn't count them out

I wonder why we didn't get much of a shot with Terrance Brooks. Unfortunate to lose a legacy athlete like that. Maybe he just wanted to carve his own path.

Cannot give grief to a DB for going to OSU. And it least we will only ever see OSU in the playoffs

I get it. I just wish we had a breakthrough on some elite corners. Hopefully J Jones gets drafted well, and we can get some traction. And the OSU thing is just annoying. Jeff Okuda, Baron Browning, etc

I think it'll get better soon, just wish we could have gotten him.
