Are we in on any other linebackers outside of Doyle? Would we take another linebacker if we get Doyle? I assume yes, because of minimum depth but I just haven't seen many other lb prospects talked about. Just curious what y'all thought.

Minimum depth? We took 5 linebackers in last year's class and have no seniors in the 2-deep.

I thought they were treating Orebo more like a DE. And I just don't know that Okeke will work out.
I'm just thinking it's like Buddy, Hines, and then 4 true freshman. And I'm skeptical on Tarian Lee.
I could be missing someone though. And I'm def not a roster management pro.
I just feel like you need to get 3 this year... But maybe that's because we've been light there for so long. Thoughts?

You're leaving out Hansford, who was recruited as a linebacker by every school BUT A&M.

There are probably more than six but if I were making a prediction today, I'd say the best bets are Chris Morris, Antonio Doyle, Antonio Johnson, Dontae Manning, Devon Achane, Donnell Harris and Daniyel Ngata (in no particular order).

is that texags? they are oddly on the "we arent getting garrett hayes" stuff where 247 is. with hayes, and those 6, we get to just over 298 i think without having anyone processed. that would be our highest rated class since this stuff actually started to be calculated as it is today

He didn't want to play LB coming out of HS. The only reason he came to A&M is because he'd get to play the position he wanted to. A&M is just benefiting now that he realized his talent is at LB.

I feel like things have been quiet with Harris. I didn't even know reclassifying in football was a thing. Does 247 think we get Harris too?
