I don't remember seeing any bad snaps to the QB in the shotgun last night. Been a recurring problem in the past, maybe we've finally fixed that.
Been a long time since I've seen the Ags run the ball like that. Maybe since Rodney Thomas, Greg Hill and Leeland McElroy were there. Trayveon with about half the damage, the other RBs dividing up the rest. I can't remember ever seeing a team play 4 true freshmen RBs.

No bad snaps and I thought Mond did pretty great playing under center for probably the first time in his career. Might be a whole different story next week.

We’ll operate out of the gun or pistol almost exclusively next week. Based on Jimbo’s history and our strengths/weaknesses I imagine we’ll see a lot of screens, counters and slants. He knows we can’t block Clemson straight up consistently.
Our biggest problem will be scoring enough points even if the defense plays well. We won’t consistently sustain long drives and I doubt we can block them well enough to allow for big hitter plays. Clemson will need to gift us some points to have any real chance.

I expect a rough outing next week, but glad to see things working. All schtick aside, just want to see some basic execution that doesn't rely on breaks.

It has been 280 days since we last enjoyed a full Saturday slate of college football games, so it's understandable if fans at Auburn and West Virginia and Notre Dame are a little excited. And certainly a little pessimism might be setting in at Texas or Washington or Penn State. But the thing is, we really shouldn't read too much into one week of games. Week 1 has a way of being deceptive.
Remember the stunning comebacks last season by Tennessee and UCLA? Both were looking for coaches at year's end.
Remember when Texas was back after it beat Notre Dame two years ago on opening weekend? So does current USF coach Charlie Strong (Texas' former coach).
Or how about when Texas A&M STUNNED Arizona State to open the 2015 season? The Aggies finished by losing five of eight.

For one, Penn State won today.

But not the heart of the matter.
