Seems to be competing rumors but until the paperwork is in hand it is not a done deal.

The four-star prospect has A&M running back in his bio on Instagram and "signed" with the Aggies earlier today. But as Brian Perroni first reported, A&M has not received his NLI. I can confirm through a source familiar with the Jackson recruitment that Texas has recently been in contact. Tom Herman has come back to life... again. I wouldn't be overly optimistic about it, but you never know. Recruiting is wild, man. As long as there is hope, Herman and co. are going to keep pushing.

The dude didn't get out until late, had a late announcement, and goes to school in a city with a population of 1,200 people with surrounding other larger towns like Wharton. He's about the fastest thing in 40 square miles. No telling why he didn't get the fax in tonight, but I wouldn't read into it until someone credible starts saying it.

I know we don't have a lot of room to talk but EJ seems like such a dork.

Foster's film is really good, he already throws a better ball than Mond.

Between Starkel, Blumrick (who tore up on the scout team last year) and Foster I can't fathom Mond lasting beyond 2018. I wouldn't be surprised if he transferred out after the spring TBH. Especially given Gunnell is in the pipeline.

I think Jimbo will try to avoid "officially" naming Starkel the starter until the Fall to keep Mond on thru next season. The problem is it feels like one of those situations where the team will decide on a QB long before the head coach names one. This just feels like its Starkel's team right now.

Starkel will be the QB next year - he's a film rat on top of everything else. He will pick up the system way faster than the others.

Brauny saying UF will not be taking Gerald anymore after landing Langham. Arkansas pushing hard for him but he’s ours to lose. He will play a lot for us next year I think assuming we land him

I agree. Starkel reminds me of Davis Webb of Tech/Cal/Giants fame.

No I think we are good, but you should probably keep a finger in your butt until we know for sure.
