247 shows him decommited, I haven’t seen anything from Jackson himself.

The most action right now probably centers around a couple of guys. A&M and Florida State are currently duking it out for Alabama quarterback James Foster and it's the Aggies and Longhorns - not A&M/Bama - fighting to the finish for Vernon Jackson's signature. That's the guy the Horns have believed they are going to steal in the dark of night for a couple of weeks now and have been hinting at. There's a lot of confidence on the Burnt Orange side here but it's always hard to tell when the Horns' confidence is misguided versus warranted. What I do know is that Jay Graham and Jimbo Fisher have been working on this one throughout the night and weren't blindsided by the development. My pick here would still be A&M and I think the Aggies fend the Horns off but Texas is clearly making a legitimate run.
James Foster could fall either way. Florida State was thought to be the leader entering his visit but since the trip the Ags have fought back to even. If the Ags get the four-star quarterback (and Dameyune Craig and Jimbo Fisher are REALLY working here), they'll most likely pull OL Tank Jenkins as well. If not, you'll see Jenkins end up in Oxford.
Bobby Brown has thrown media members for a loop over the past 24 hours with what some perceive as conflicting information but I still believe the coveted defensive lineman will make the high-profile flip tomorrow, opting to stay in state and going Maroon. I've felt good about this one for a couple of weeks now and still do.
New Jersey OLB Javontae Jean-Baptiste has yet to tell anyone where he's heading but his decision is definitely coming down to the Aggies and Ohio State Buckeyes. Despite reports that the rangy defender had a less-than-stellar visit to Columbus, Urban Meyer has recovered and this has become the unlikeliest of NSD eve head to heads I've covering in a while. We're literally talking about a pair of national championship coaches - one in Texas and one in Ohio - going toe-to-toe for a New Jersey outside linebacker who didn't even seem like a legitimate target for the Aggies as recently as two weeks ago.
A wild one that should be decided momentarily.
Nothing has changed in regards to Jashaun Corbin, Glenn Beal or Jeremiah Martin. I still believe all three will ink with the Aggies tomorrow.
Am I forgetting anyone?

Brian Perroni: Signing Day late-night news
- With Vernon Jackson, it’s obvious he isn’t going to Alabama. They didn’t send him an LOI since they knew they weren’t getting him. He has not publicly decommitted but his 247 profile says ‘decommitted’ because I’m guessing the Bama site was cleaning up the commit list and he’s definitely not going there. I have continued to hear mostly only Texas A&M with him, with TCU being mentioned briefly as a possible contender. Pretty much every school that is recruiting him thinks it is A&M. I have been doing this long enough to never say anything is a sure thing but this is on that A&M is very confident on.
- I know Bobby Brown has said he’s signing with Alabama but I am sticking to my guns from what I heard over the weekend and after it from his unofficial visit to A&M. Two more sources tonight told me they were pretty positive it was going to be A&M. Both A&M and Alabama will be looking for his LOI in the morning, so one school is going to be disappointed for sure.
- The consensus around TE Glenn Beal is still that he is likely A&M-bound. The Aggies have felt good about this one for a while.
- Out of all the targets, I still feel the most confident in predicting four-star RB Jashaun Corbin to A&M as well.
- Washington made things very interesting with DE Jeremiah Martin but A&M feels good there and word I’m getting from the West Coast is that a lot of people think it will be the Aggies.Terry Price has been there from the beginning on him and that was a big deal to Martin.
- A&M made a serious run at LB Javontae Jean-Baptiste and made it up to possibly even being co-leaders earlier today but Ohio State is pretty confident it lands the four-star New Jersey prospect tomorrow morning.
- I have not heard final decisions on either QB James Foster or OL Tank Jenkins but Florida State and Ole Miss, respectively, remain confident on them. The tweet from the Oklahoma OL coach tonight apparently referencing Jenkins with his area code was a bit odd, though.
- I think WR Jaylen Waddle will choose Alabama. I said in a post earlier this evening that, though nobody says they have been told explicitly, every person I’ve talked to has said their gut says the Tide.
- Dorian Gerald is still making up his mind. The extra time likely won’t hurt A&M’s chances as it allows him to come off a post-visit high to Florida.
