That '19 class so far is making things wonderful around here

I'm playing. But seriously...you are lying to yourself if you can't admit that you wouldn't mind seeing a good old fashioned tArk melt.

Would Kennedy missing the tournament and still keeping his job constitute a melt?

From talking to a bunch of sources, I don't think he knows where he is going yet. Also, A&M is in very good shape. Dameyune Craig has been working really hard with him behind the scenes and Foster really likes the Aggie assistant. The Florida State visit went really well and I think the Noles have a slight lead but he could sign either place tomorrow.
Foster's school ceremony is at 10 a.m. tomorrow but they have five or six guys signing and he's last so it will probably be around 10:30. I also received confirmation this morning that if Foster signs with A&M, so will Tank Jenkins. If Foster doesn't, Jenkins actually seems to be down to a pair of SEC schools now with A&M and Ole Miss.

I'm not yet ready to say this is going to happen, but what if the Ags won all five H2Hs with Bama down the stretch, landing Jackson, Waddle, Brown, O'Neal and Beal? Then what? What's the narrative out of Austin? What are the folks in T-Town and Baton Rouge thinking? What do talking toads like mengland and his ilk complain about for the next few months? What about all of those who completely lost their composure and sense of decency during this wild ride to Signing Day? What then?

It's a real stretch to call O'Neal a Bama-A&M head to head. I don't even think they finished top 3 for him.
That would obviously be a great start for y'all to get all 5 of those players, but even if you don't, it's entirely understandable based on the brief amount of time Fisher's been in College Station. If y'all are able to get them and end up with a top 15ish class that would be a helluva start.

In all honesty, we essentially are, and the picture is starting to become a little clearer. There's still so much intrigue though. I've got this funny feeling some news pops today for some reason. We'll see. Don't forget tomorrow's coverage schedule: 7-11 - TexAgs Radio Signing Day special 12-1 - Beliucci Hour Lunch 6-8 - Happy Hour with the TexAgs team at the Dixie Chicken I'll also go ahead and call my shot on these final targets:
Brock Purdy - Iowa St
James Foster - Texas A&M
Tank Jenkins - Oklahoma
Glenn Beal - Texas A&M
Leonard Taylor - Cincinnati
Jashaun Corbin - Texas A&M
Keaontay Ingram - Texas
Vernon Jackson - Texas A&M
Charles Strong - Ole Miss
Jaylen Waddle - Alabama
Geordon Porter - Arizona State
Dorian Gerald - Texas A&M
Jeremiah Martin - Texas A&M
Bobby Brown - Texas A&M
Javontae Jean-Baptiste - Ohio St
I've taken Umstead Sanders off the list because he's yet to be offered. I suppose that could still change at some point today. Of the guys listed above, I feel the least confident about my picks for Waddle, Gerald, and Foster.

He was to take an official visit there, was heavily pursued by Lupoi, and had Waddle in his ear big time trying to get him to shut it down with Bama, and we shut down the visit entirely, got him to instead accompany recruits on an unofficial to College Station for that weekend, and he’s been recruiting Waddle ever since to come back into the fold at A&M.

Why in God’s green earth would he even say that. If so - I’ll eat crow and buy premium for a year. I wish I could put him in a jizz jar gif.

Brian Perroni: VIP Recruiting Notes
- A&M is making a serious run at QB James Foster. Things actually were in much better shape than thought after his recent A&M official visit but the Seminoles did really well on that trip and look to have pulled back into the lead. This one could go either way and Dameyune Craig has done incredibly well to get A&M in the picture. Florida State still feels pretty confident but they are worried about the Aggies. I still think it will be FSU but it is definitely an announcement I will be watching closely tomorrow around 10 or 10:30 a.m.
- Along with Foster, his cousin made the trip in four-star OG Tank Jenkins. Oklahoma was thought to be the leader with him but word came Tuesday that it looks like it is an SEC battle between A&M and Ole Miss. The Rebels got the last visit and also have the distance factor in their favor but Jenkins is still legitimately torn. If Foster goes with A&M, Jenkins is very likely to choose the Aggies as well. If not, A&M still has a chance but Ole Miss probably has the ever-so-slight lead right now.
- Though Vernon Jackson has long been committed to Alabama, it seems unlikely the jumbo ATH will sign there. That leaves a trio of in-state schools in A&M, TCU and Texas. Jackson is not having a ceremony and will simply sign with the school of his choice. A&M feels quite confident following his official visit this past weekend. Word came during the trip that it was going incredibly well and every source we’ve talked to thinks the Aggies knocked it out of the park. I thought it was going to be A&M headed into the weekend and I still think that. Texas feels good about it chances and TCU is a darkhorse not to be ignored, especially with the Frogs being his first offer, but I think it will be the Aggies.
- I am still the most confident on four-star RB Jashaun Corbin out of all the uncommitted targets left. I am pretty confident on TE Glenn Beal as well. There’s still a chance LSU could make a very, very late push tomorrow morning but I’m not sure it will be in time.
- The most surprising development to me today has been the shift in favorites of New Jersey four-star LB Javontae Jean-Baptiste. Before the weekend, all the buzz was between Nebraska and Virginia Tech and now it is between A&M and Ohio State. A lot have speculated that he is not a take for Ohio State but, in talking to people, I think the Buckeyes will definitely take him if he wants to go there. They have two spots left with OT Nicholas Petit-Frere almost certainly going to take one of them. That leaves the other for OT Rasheed Walker or Jean-Baptiste. There is not a lot of optimism in Columbus on Walker, though. Also, I’ve been told Ohio State likely would make room anyway if both wanted in. A&M has done well with him as Fisher and Brewster were there last week and the official visit was good enough to put the Aggies from virtually off the radar into his final two. However,Urban Meyer went to see him last week as well and Ohio State likely has the edge here.
- A&M has not given up on RB Charles Strong but I still believe the former Florida State commit will sign with Ole Miss tomorrow. They did a very good job with his visit and he had publicly listed the Rebels as his leader going in.
- There still isn’t a ton of news on WR Jaylen Waddle and a big Alabama/A&M battle. He could choose either one but I think it will be Alabama. This is a gut feeling and I have not been told anything but, in talking to a lot of people, there is some buzz for the Tide.
- On the other hand, I don’t think the Bobby Brown recruitment is over, despite him saying last night that he was planning to sign with Alabama. I still think there is a very, very real chance that he simply sends his LOI to A&M instead and doesn’t deal with publicly changing his mind first. Brown is the biggest wildcard in the class and he could go either way, but there was a lot of optimism coming from College Station during and after the weekend.
- JUCO DE Dorian Gerald probably made a wise move in pushing back his signing date to Friday. Junior college players only have two years so they to make everything count. He has to look at each depth chart and scheme and see where he thinks he would make an immediate impact. Also, coming off a post-visit high to Florida, it is not a bad development for A&M that he is waiting.
- I don’t believe QB Brock Purdy or WR Geordon Porter will be signing with A&M. The first looks headed to Iowa State and the second to either Arizona State or UCLA.
- As for Texas commits, DT Keondre Coburn is not a legitimate target. The one team that could flip him is Miami. RB Keaontay Ingram recently took an official visit to A&M but, like with Tyree Wilson and the Aggies, it is tough to overcome his longtime pledge to the Horns. A&M is still working on him but I don’t see it happening.

Is Randy Rodgers still slaying it on the recruiting scene?

So Bama isn't even sending Jackson a LOI tomorrow. Gonna be a wild ride tomorrow.
