Isaac Taylor-Stuart changed his upcoming visit from Georgia to Alabama. Considering Banks was his recruiter here and now he's at Bama, I don't think we really have a shot anymore.

That combined with Ossai most likely going to texas really sucks. Not sure what's going on with Martin from California, but our success rate with Cali recruits isn't very good. Even if O'Neal recommits, our defensive class leaves alot to be desired.

Yeah unless Jimbo has some surprise up his sleeve with some recruit outside of the state February is looking like a letdown.

But... but... the magic of Jimbo and the best recruiting staff we've ever had!?!

Give him a full cycle before you start slinging L's everywhere.

Nope. A coach who has "the greatest recruiting staff ever at A&M" doesn't get the full cycle excuse. A coach with a national title ring doesn't get to say "We'll get em next year" b/c he was surprised by how many kids ended their recruitment on early signing day. A coach that got his own tin pot dictator intro off the plane should be able to hit the ground running regardless of how well he know the HS coaches in the region. A coach making a guaranteed $75 million doesn't get to have excuses like that. If Jimbo and his staff were as great as every kool aid addict here says there wouldn't be an issue with holding onto guys we still want that were supposed to be locks.

But instead of locks, so far Jimbo is getting

The irony is your boy Chad has been taking Ls left and right too on the recruiting trail.

Early signing fricked every team with a new head coach.

Aggie Chad isn't making $75 million guaranteed on a 10 year deal, isn't working w/a GOAT recruiting staff, isn't getting near unlimited funds, and isn't at a school w/facilities that are top 3 (at worst) in the conference.

But you know who is?

Nick Saben himself couldn't recruit at Texas A&M right now. For some reason we are poison to this class of recruits. Let's hope Jimbo can fix this in one cycle, but it may take several years. I don't know who or how we poisoned the well, but it is soured.

None of this can be put on Fisher. Not one bit of it.

A&M would have closed out really well if we didn't have a new staff

I don’t disagree at all. Just lots of skill players were on the table and they got them.

They are in the driver seat after the momentum from that class. If Herman has a good season next year they will be hard to beat in recruiting, hopefully that doesn’t happen.

Jimbo has his work cut out of him, but either he cracks the code or his career is ruined. Sure he will keep the $75 million but for a guy like him a dead legacy is hard to stomach.

He did kill it. So did Lincoln Reilly. Hence my point.

We are poison with this class.
