Everyone should revisit our win against Arky if they somehow find a way to pull out a win here.

So Arkansas and Mizzou are good wins I’d say lol

For all yall that came to this board to try and project and guess what kind of team we are, save your time. This year is chaotic. Buckle up, grab a beer and hold on. Who knows what’s in store. Enjoy the ride

I came in this season thinking we would finish anywhere from the SEC championship game to 12th, that’s how chaotic I thought this season was going to be.

Weigman simply had to be hurt in the ND game. He looked like himself today …

I have no idea if we are or not. In fact i think we’re pretty mid overall but here we are 10th in October.
This season is really starting to feel kinda 2007-y.

#14 coaches
#15 AP
And we’re starting to be in the playoffs conversations.
We can afford 1 slip up. It’s weird to feel like we control our own destiny this late in the season.

SEC is wide open this season, the traditional heavyweights (Bama & Georgia) have both showed they’re not perfect, and the middle teams of the SEC have showed they can rise up and catch you if you’re looking past them.
A&M needs to just focus on ourselves and take it one week at a time. Don’t look past Miss St even though they’re bad this year. Don’t assume we can walk into USCe’s house without a fight, and so on.
Defense still worries me, they’re very boom or bust. If the really good/aggressive pass rush doesn’t get there or the QB escapes containment, our secondary isn’t good at coverage outside of Will Lee. A good QB can likely pick us apart, we still haven’t faced a high level QB yet, but we will.
If Saturday’s Connor shows up the rest of this year, I’ll be a lot less worried about our offense.

With no slips will be playing potential #1 team at end of season. Tell me what that could mean?
I know, there are playoffs and all that stuff.

With no slip ups and depending on if Texas doesn’t slip up against Georgia or anyone else then we are looking at a top five matchup and a win gets us an automatic spot in the playoff. A loss and we will need to rely on tiebreakers for a championship game bid and hope for the best to make the playoff.

I just wanna get past Miss State, I’m not thinking about Texas or the end of the season. I k ow we’re fans so we have the luxury of being able to overlook teams but I’m taking it one game at a time. Great win, heal up over the bye and go kill Miss State

There’s no point but to take it one game at a time. When you look ahead you get a loss to a Vanderbilt or an Arkansas.

Exactly. Keep grinding and look up after week 12, see where you’re at then

It is interesting to note that it seems like Missouri flat out did not prepare for CW to play.

“I know on their depth chart, it says the other kid is the starting quarterback,” Drinkwitz said. “But that’s just semantics, in my opinion. The guy is 3-0 as the starter and whether he’s listed as questionable or whatever, I don’t see him going back. They’re 3-0, they clearly have a different offensive identity with this guy as the quarterback and they’ve developed an offense that fits around his system. It’s a lot different than the first game of the year.”
“If they go with the other one, they go with the other one,” Drinkwitz said. “They’ve kind of already built the offense around Marcel and I think he went out with a press conference yesterday. So whether or not there are semantics around it, I fully anticipated Marcel, being 3-0 as the starter, being the starting quarterback.”

I wouldn't say bust. They're averaging 16.67 PPGA. They give up big plays, true, but an opponent can expect to win on 75-yard TD passes or runs against us.

LSU will be a real test for our defense
Posted on 10/9/24 at 5:18 pm to Ag_16
Our biggest test by far.
Good news is, we'll also be their offense's biggest test.

It’s nice waking up and watching Gameday stress free knowing my team can’t break my heart today
