What are Bjork type hires? Analytical, coaches that instill hard work and hard nosed styles of play. I have to believe it is one of the DeBoer, Fisch, Smith triumvirate if Elko is out

Rumor about Dabo leaving Clemson. We couldn't really snag Dabo, could we? And if we did, what do I think about that? Unsure

At least he is open to a wide-open offense.

I have no idea what is going to happen at this point. At least it isn't a retread in Elko or a lifelong sip wannabe in Traylor. DeBoer isn't likely, and Day is a made-up pipe dream unless he loses to Michigan

Would be in complete show me mode before getting excited if we snagged him. Could it be there is more than smoke to the Day stuff?

Day is being crucified by the tOSU fans. If he loses to Michigan this weekend I wouldn't rule him out. I just don't think he will lose.

I don't know what to think about Dabo...is he in the same position as Jimbo was when we got him? Are we seeing the downward spiral of Clemson? Can he recapture the hunger to build another championship team?

I don't want Dabo. I want younger and hungrier with some type of pedigree under a big-name coach.

I’m to the point where I’m tired of guessing. I trust Ross to make a good hire. I’m just gonna wait to see who pops up lol

Dabos unwillingness to use the portal and NIL scares me. Adapt or die in CFB and he’s not adapting

It's going to be Elko. From TexAgs

Please try and refrain from bringing either wrong or misleading info here. I'm only half kidding. Elko is still very much in play. Had two conversations with Level 1 sources in the last hour confirming as much.

That is the only thing he's said on the board all day long. Retread

I know you’re always looking for a reason to have a hysterical tantrum, but I’m not sure why a segment of our fanbase see Elko as some extension of Jimbo. He coached with him for the 4 years they were together at A&M and that’s it. He’s not one of those guys who’s followed him around and the program culture at Duke sounds nothing like it was at A&M. I’m not as high on him for other reasons (recruiting, OC hire dependent) but that’s a silly one to me

My inference is Elko is the fallback if a bigger fish like Day can’t be had. Duke is 6-5 so not much of a reason for him to stay there for the last game if he’s truly the #1 target.

Chin pubes hasn't said anything on the boards all day, except this. I'd say that Elko looks the most likely at this point. Not excited about that, but at least he isn't Traylor.

Can you read Liucci speak? Liucci specifically chimed in to say Elko is still in play. Then Brauny started saying that Elko is a much better recruiter than many think.

TexAgs going to light on fire if it is Elko
