Memorializing the Legend of Sirr Parker

When I starting thinking about a responds to that thread on The Rant about the program's greatest play, I was tempted to talk about stuffing Bo Jackson at the goal line in the Cotton Bowl. Then, I considered "The Hit" by Quinten Coryatt. Then JFF's play against Alabama.
They all had significance and meaning.
Then I remembered "HE GOT A TOUCHDOWN! HE GOT A TOUCHDOWN....OH DOCTOR!" and I thought about how that play was actually featured at the end of the TV Movie they made about Sirr.
Then, I remembered the rest of that movie and Sirr's life story before coming to A&M. The guy is an inspiration. He overcame circumstances that would destroy most of us and sealed his college career with a championship winning play.
Shouldn't an Aggie like Sirr be immortalized at Kyle with a statue and plaque telling his inspirational story?
To me, that is even more inspiring than E. King Gill's. (I just insulted the Aggie Lore Gods. Everyone fill a jar and grab sack on my behalf. Thanks and Gig'em.)
How do we get something like that done? Who do we talk to about it?
Is anybody else with me?

No, I am talking about something at Kyle Field. Like a statue and plaque. If any story deserves to be enshrined in Aggie Lore, that one does, don't you think?

I've seen men keelhauled for less. GOOD men.
BUT......
You make a compelling case.

Was on a boat and never seen someone keelhauled. Now sitting on a salt water ice cube while being sprayed by a salt water firehouse. I’ve seen that...

Let’s save the statues for Heisman winners and coaches that win national titles.
But I would be down for honoring the greatest plays somewhere. I know they put award winners and AAs on the pillars north of the zone.
