I got a monthly sub for the search at texags last week. I totally forgot how batshit insane/obsessive people are over there in regards to UT

This is the only Texas A&M message board I regularly visit. I like how there are other boards bringing in fans of the other conference members. It seems kind of unique.

Hope more basketball talk picks up once our new coaching hire gets settled.

Are we sure that isn't another Randolph Duke alter or is that one Maximus, since he seems to love bonfire jokes?

I use to browse 247 a lot more, but it seems they are starting to make every dang thread VIP for some reason.

You aren't kidding. Nothing but cheap "X team or player is shite" boring posts.

This is the cream of TexAgs, ladies and gentlemen.

I use to take a look at 247, but stopped visiting there for 2 reasons:
1. All these guys seem to really care about is recruiting. I think some people care more about that than the actual games.
2. Every time I would click on a link there, some audio/video starts blaring, which I then have to try to close or mute. It is just annoying as hell.

That's been the enduring appeal of this site for me. Really just stumbled onto it when I was on a kick of visiting rival team boards, but having so many team's fans in one place is a very cool dynamic I greatly enjoy.

I tried to get into recruiting but it just doesn't have the appeal for me that the games do. Factor in the age/capricious whims of the recruits and it's just never something I'll get worked up over.

Not only this but the maturity level of our 247 board is akin to a middle school locker room.
