I don't think the overall performance was being celebrated, just their heart/grit/resilience down the stretch.
Berating your team for their missteps only goes so far. Positive and negative reinforcement. Coach is the only one that'll know which his team needs more at that moment.

You're presuming things about us, and about Arky, that are not true.

Pickem tore me up a couple years ago. I know that feel
I attended the Baylor game today so I missed y'all's against Syracuse. Was it really as close as the score indicated?

Yall will be a completely different team by Nov.28(for the better)
I think Kyle Allen will settle in (making a few risky decisions so far, very coachable fixes) and yall proved tonight that yall can have a pretty decent and effective run game. Definitely think yall are still plugnplay but Sumlin might not be %100 on what exactly he has to work with. Yall have a deep threat at the drop of the hat as well so I for sure see a different team by the time yall come into Baton Rouge. Sumlin will have yalls dynamic mapped out. Defense thoughts- if there's anything Chavis knows how to do is making adjustments for plugging the run, I see that improving as well.
Just my thoughts after watching yall through 4.
Sick nasty DE's and crazy feets with one they call Kirk.

IMO, this is a game a coach at a program like ours should be shaming the frick out of the team in the locker room. They need to know this was not a performance to be celebrated.
Just my opinion
I'm actually with you on this.

That win was entirely unworthy of that celebration. It makes us look small time.
Someone needs a hug. We're 1-0 in SEC play. Hell yeah they're gonna celebrate, and why shouldn't they?

The Orangemen can scrap bruh. It was within a possession at one point but at the same time out of reach in the 4th. Late score putting them down by 10 and the failed onside sealed it. Buga did his thing, but I will say this Syracuse can tackle a lot better than Auburn, it was kind of funny.

Changed my sig back to the previous edition in your honor. I probably won't change it again. I had no idea you were such a pussy.
They won the damn game, dammit. What's not to celebrate?

Damn that's pretty crazy. Props to y'all for locking up a road dub

I want the Ags and Tigers to be undefeated when Nov.28 rolls around

Someone is gonna have to buy a new domain name for the site. This one may kick the bucket if that matchup comes to pass with those records on the line
Would be outstanding.

Ditto. Would be glorious. Forget all the "we're not your rival" bullshite from both sides. This would take care of that.

I just don't think we should be celebrating like that after beating a team who almost certainly won't even make a bowl game. That's a ranked opponent type romp.
At least we thought ASU was good when we beat them.

Our LB play is gonna be poor all year, it just is what it is. Spav will hopefully develop a rhythm for playcalling at some point but I am suspect.

LB play is a major concern. We have not recruited that position well in a long time. Plus, when the entire starting LB crew misses spring ball, that doesn't help.

Hurts that Alaka went down and Walker is still out.

I think walker actually played a few snaps at the end of the game. I'm worried bout Alaska though

Didn't even notice alaka went out. Damn. Did speedy even play today? I can't recall seeing him. Is he hurt? Doghouse?

I listened to the Dave South broadcast. Alaka went down early 1st Quarter and Speedy Noil had "medical issues" even before the game started and couldn't get warmed up.
