Why a ban bet with fellow Arkmates?

I'll bet with you along with Cooter but let's do something more creative and funny.

Why would we want fellow Arkmates to not post?

imo, ban bets provide the most "put up or shut up" punch.

But if that's too draconian, I'm open to alternative stakes.

What would you suggest?

I'm in on the terms that the bet is Trump winning the general election.

For the record, I don't hate Hillary and I would vote for her over Trump.

But I will likely go Gary Johnson again.

Hot take: GJ will clear the 15% needed to get in to presidential debates. I haven't met anybody that remotely likes either candidate. He more than likely has my vote.

Latest poll (i saw) showed 14% not voting for Trump or Hilldawg. Its not 15% & they all wouldn't vote for GJ, but its getting somewhat possible.

Watching Hillary and Trump destroy each other for the next four months should get Gary Johnson on the stage.

If he gets on stage, he could be a contender for some states. Voters on both sides are desperate for an alternative candidate and Gary Johnson would pull from both sides.

Johnson won't be able to win outright. The best we could hope for is that he prevents the other two from getting to 270, and letting the House pick among the three. Johnson *might* be the choice there.

Oddly enough, should Johnson get the nod for President, his VP running mate would be left out in the cold. The Senate chooses the VP from the top two electoral vote-getters. The LP VP isn't going to be top two. So we might end up with something like Johnson/Gingrich.

I still hope that Dump Trump movement does what is necessary and right, and the GOP manages to nominate someone other than Cheeto Jesus.

Would never be the choice.

I wish, but get real.
