It’s like having 13 men on the field.

Good player. Not as much of a “ball hawk” as previous years (just one int this year I think?) but very solid in coverage and on tackling. Good leader and great career overall here.

Made two huge 3rd down stops in the second half.

Balled out in the second half for sure, his bad angle resulted in giving up the long td catch and run in the first though.

he's the ringleader of a pretty special defense this year.

His closing speed was incredible last night. Saved several first downs 1 on 1 in free space when I thought the receiver could easily get there.

I was having flashbacks of busted plays from years past during those moments. There's no way Wilson (or any DB for that matter) would have come running in from the secondary to save us from a 1st down last year.

Considering Wilson was out for the season after UCLA...

You forgetting about Watts? Dude made plays all over.

Not like that. Critical plays like that would have resulted in a Kentucky 1st down.

I miss Watts and Evans.

Love Wilson, although everytime he makes a tackle I look for a targeting flag. :(

Can we call it much improved? Idk if I'd call it special.

Oh. We can say he's special. Worth every penny. Now we just have to keep him for a couple years before he takes a HC gig somewhere.

He really goes for as hard of hits as he can on every play.
