Robinson is getting to the point in his career that he needs to prove he can stand on his own two feet as a DC, without Muschamp.

I like that tidbit on the write up on the offensive staff.

I love LSU fans who talk about how paying washed up Jimbo so much guaranteed money is a huge mistake, but then get all excited about poaching the AD from A&M that made that very mistake.

IF there is any truth to the rumor that A&M is making another push for Aranda after earlier offering something close to 2 million...

...would this signal that other options for a top DC have dried up? I just don't see how Aranda would be so much better than Brown and a few others.

I don't think Lupoi is dead but who knows. Tucker is dead im pretty sure.

But it's extremely encouraging that all of our new offensive staffers have been in the top 10 rankings for 247 in the last three years. Speaks volumes as to our priorities.

Partridge has been on staff at UM since 2015. Since then he's pulled in three 5*, twenty 4*, & eight 3*.

A&M's 16-19 class has(had) zero 5* & twenty-two 4*.

i think it has more to do with jimbo. hes always been his #1 option for DC and he came here for this exact situation. oh, 2 million wasnt enought? ok, heres 2.5

i think it has more to do with jimbo not giving up on his #1 option than being turned down by others

Yep. Would be huge to get him in CS. And if you look closer, Partridge consistently gets those fice stars from Georgia, Florida, etc.

But frick me if Aranda isn't the name people are floating right now
