Jimbo is obviously prioritizing recruiting prowess over coaching capabilities. Chief is on the wrong side of that line.

Robinson with Thompson is just plain sick from both a recruiting and coaching standpoint. This staff could be all-star, especially if Banks wants to stay on as the 10th after the first next year.

Agreed. No one here has seen us recruit at this level before; our world is about to be very different.
I'm pretty sure Banks has an offer to stay at special teams, but I'm not entirely sure if he will accept it as my understanding is there is some interest in him as an Associate HC/Recruiting Coordinator type position elsewhere. He would get paid well to stay but would really just want to do it on the belief that Jimbo is going to have a really big year in the next couple of years, which would hopefully propel Banks for head coach consideration.
It doesn't fit our needs, as I believe Robinson (if he is in fact our coach) is going to bring a staff member on the defensive side who coaches LBs and special teams.
