I hope we can manage to tune all that out this year…and not have qb1 go down in the pre season

2022 team should not be top 10 to start the season. Not deserving of that at all. Lots to replace on defense and QB should be better, but is unproven. 15-25 is far more realistic spot and let wins do the speaking for us if we get them.

I can quite literally take that quote and apply it to the 2021 season.

Its not the defense I'm worried about. We have reloaded there as well as anyone
At this point it comes down to the QB position (again)
I like our chances with Max, King, and our freshman

yes as this past season proved we were overrated and shouldn’t have been ranked in the top 5. We were coming off a 9-1 season with a NY6 bowl win though, bit different this year.

It's a bet that Haynes King is a lot better than Calzada. If he is, we're probably a Top 10 team.

And it's a preseason poll.

Y'all didn't want to listen to why '20 was a mirage. Yes it was an all SEC schedule but we got to play every single shitty SEC team and our two biggest wins were heavily aided by injury (Pitts vs UF) and opt outs (most of UNC's starting offense).

Pitts played a large chunk of the game.
Georgia is the only really good team we avoided.
2020 was every bit as real as any season.

I guess you forgot how many of our key players either, opted out before the season, or got injured EARLY on and never returned

If you are talking about 2020, the only opt outs that might have contributed were Hines and Ausbon. It turned out they were both holding us back.

It wasn’t no mirage, don’t add some revisionist history just because you want a different coach from jimbo.

Dr. RC is still pining for Chad Morris.
