…and not a death knell on your season

App State is a really strong mid major; yesterday may not mean as much as everyone thinks

Reminds me of 2011 when UGA lost to Boise in the opener (in our embarrassing power rangers unis)

We even lost the next week to SC but managed to turn the season around and make the SEC CG

this could go 1 of 2 ways

1. Wake up call and Ags go on a tear

2. Create dissent and bickering that spirals the season downhill

I hope y’all turn it around and have a good season; you have the horses, do you have the grit and the drive?

I’m pulling for the wake up call - good luck the rest of the way and don’t let yesterday sour you on the season, at least not yet…

Reasoned post, OP. Appreciate the perspective, and I agree with it

We know what the issues are, and as bad as the L was, everything is still possible for this team. Or an implosion is possible. I'm actually very interested in where things shake out from here. This will tell us everything going forward. Watershed moment.

I don't care what he is guarantied in payout money, if an implosion happens then Jimbo has to be on thin ice. Can you imagine having a coaching staff that schemes as well as App State. Maybe TAMUs coaches have had it too easy. Maybe not hungry.

I'm sorry for this attitude above but the game left me with two impressions. That A&M and their coaching was flat and unimaginative. And they have not unleashed their athletes. No sense of urgency.

App State came up with a hell of a scheme. Simply get first downs and eat up the clock and beat a team that can't score. And props to App State for no fear of the consequences of trying for the first on fourth down.

Finally, do we have any other possibilities at running back? We need a big guy and then Achane as a second option just like when Spiller played.

This is why FSU fans were not sad to see Jimbo leave. The successive coaching hires at FSU were bad, but the same complaints about Jimbo have been there for almost a decade now.

Season is shot. Whether Fisher realizes it and adjusts is totally up in the air. I have little faith
