I don’t have much of a problem with it. We’re so limited by our OL it’s really impossible to fairly assess it.

He and Henson have kept Prater at Center all season. The majority of false start and delay of game penalties have been because Prater doesn't snap the fricking ball in time. He repeatedly misses calls and blocks.

Keeping Prater at starting center all season = D

It was pretty clear we weren’t going to be able to run the ball yesterday. Seems like it Took about 20 running plays to start figuring this out yesterday. So for that a D-.

Mond needs 50 pass attempts next week.

Prayer is our second highest graded OL and fourth highest graded offensive player this season. He struggles with the biggest and strongest of nose tackles because he’ll just never be the strongest of interior OL, but if he’s facing a player who isn’t just dramatically stronger than him he tends to do well and hold his own. He’s been responsible for a relatively small number of pressures and TFL.

And the delays are almost exclusively on Mond for calling out adjustments too late. There is a predetermined amount of time from the QB call to the snap, if Mond calls out the signal with 1 second on the play clock it’s already over.

You mean like when he was abused by Texas State's and UTSA's lines?

He was? We didn’t give up one TFL vs Texas State and rushed for 246 at 6.8 YPR. Mond was sacked twice vs UTSA, neither was because of Prater, we also rushed for 267 and 6.7 YPR vs Texas State.

Prater is far from elite, but if we had a better option you don’t think Henson and Fisher would be playing him?

We do have a better option, but for some reason they don't trust a redshirt freshman (Matthews) over a senior.

How do you know Matthews is a better option? In the limited time he has played he hasn’t been spectacular. Fisher wants to win, he has shown he will play the best players no matter their classification, we now have 5 true fish starting.

Has he played with the starting 5?

Every time I've seen him on the field I've seen at least 2 walkon O-Linemen on the field with him.

Three games where Elko & our defense gave us a chance to win and Jimbo's offense let us down. That's the story of the season to me.

I will say that the new downfield weapons we expect to see next year is going to make Jimbo look like a much better playcaller

Cupp, Demas, Achane, Corbin, and a handful of other WR prospects to go with Wydermyer, Spiller, Ausbon and whoever else sticks around is going to provide a deep pool of contributors.

I thought the play calling was great against UGA. If the O-line did their job, there would be no questions asked. Even after all that, we were moving the ball in the second half.

There were no complaints about the play calling in the South Carolina game.

Really? You thought lining up in the pistol on 4th and inches was the right call?

I’m not an X’s and O’s Expert, but Jimbo explained that the pistol provided for better angles for the RB to get downhill or change of direction. Something to that effect. The O-line wasn’t getting any push.

Jimbo won a NC as a offensive coordinator and head coach. He found 7 wins with a QB that will not be drafted and a freshman RB. Not to mention the weakest OL play I've seen out of A&M in a long damn time. The Ag's are still transitioning from a spread offense to pro style 21/22 personnel packages. I believe a healthy Cupp along with the emergence of Wydermyer is going to be refreshing to watch.

Grading straight up? C. Grading on a curve I'd give him an A-. He doesn't have all of the parts to make his offense dominant yet. If he can get Elko to stick around for a couple of seasons the gumps & corndongs are really going to be pissed.
