Member when people said giving a coach who was 5-6 in the ACC $75 million for 10 years ALL GUARANTEED wasn't a dumb thing to do?

It’s by far the biggest issue. It’s the most important position or group in the game and we suck at it. Swap out or line for Ohio State’s and this team goes 9-3 with no other changes.

So 1st year o-line coach is the blame for all the ills but not the defensive ends coach who has been here 8 years or any of the other coaches who have been here for 2 and definitely not the HC offensive mastermind/QB guru who hired him and runs a predictable, slow offense with a QB who gets rattled the moment the line doesn't create a perfect pocket.

Chad was put in a shitty situation with a shitty roster and got zero time to actually get his guys.
Even with him doing poorly at Pig had we hired him we would have been able to pull the plug if needed.
With Jimbo if things go bad there is no getting rid of him until he hits year 8 at the earliest.

I mean, if he keeps recruiting at this level we’ll be good almost by default at some point. Since 2010, all but one program that has averaged a top 10 class over a 4 year period has at least played in their conference title game.
