So, is 247 getting rid of Hamm and replacing him?

I don't like Hamm for what he did, but most agree that their rankings are the best

Looks like a whole lot to do about nothing. Glad the coach stepped up and admitted he was wrong in a private email that leaked.

The forums are pretty bad, including Premium. But I never post there and only look in when there may be a news item I want to know more about.

I'll keep my subscription to listen to the daily radio show and to hear Sherrill call Gabe Bock "Brock" without hesitation, then call him "Gabe" in the same interview 2 minutes later. (I haven't figured out if he does that on purpose or not, because he's otherwise pretty sharp.) They have some other good interviews on there, too - bringing back old football players is always good. Jacob Green was on there recently. Bucky, Greg Hill, etc. They also have other sportswriters from around the country on once a week or so, and that's good for a different perspective. I was definitely not thrilled when Craig James became a weekly feature, but he was actually good, too.

You don't need a subscription for that. The radio aggieland app or zone1150 website offers live streaming and podcasts.

Grudgingly have to agree. Still don't like the guy.

The herd mentality over there is literally the worst. The recent Hamm situation is a great example of that.

I would say there is a herd mentality on just about most forums.

There were numerous things I didn't understand about premium.

1) I didn't understand why posters picked fights like they did. Just read the info provided and go. If you don't like it, stop paying for it or send him a PM/email. The public spectacles always ended the same way.

2) Likewise, I never understood the legions of sycophantic idiots that would materialize after Looch banned somebody. "Yea!! Get'em Looch!!" or "Holy shite Looch with the fuggin ban hammer!!" or whatever. So dumb. Somebody got banned. BFD. Half of them create a new name, buy stars, and are posting again within a week.

3) But most of all, I could never understand how a grown man running an internet business could have such a thin skin. Everybody knows that people are disrespectful assholes on the internet. It's just the way it works. People are insulting and rude. So if you're going to run an internet business, you'd better have an ability to laugh that stuff off and digest the actual points made in the post. But not Looch. He is one of the prickliest guys on the web. I don't get it. So Joe Blow on the Internet insulted you. Reach down, realize that your sack is still attached, and get over it.

Nope. He works hard to give his customers a quality product, and I think he provides a lot of good info (aside from the recruiting, there is a lot of quality analysis from some knowledgeable people), but damn he does not seem to understand his market at all.
