You got me. Sumlin called me three days ago and we had a nice conversation. Gibbs, for whatever reason, didn't bite so Kevin offered me the gig for a cool 750K. I went low on the rpfront end but my improvement bonus hurdles will kick in once I get the defense to the 45-55 ranking in total defense.

That info is coming from a Mod on the VT board and is 3-4 days old. re foster taking extension. I don't know that he is for sure going to stay. He very well could but don't know.

I don't see UL getting back up to where Strong had them either.

I'd be happy with Venables as DC. Not as happy as if it were Foster, but a 9 as opposed to a 10.

Venables would pretty much solidify Mack, Sheffield, and Jefferson and could give us a decent shot at landing DeBerry as well.
