Weigman has had 11 starts in the three years that he’s been here.
In half of those games, he’s failed to complete 60% of his passes.
Last year against New Mexico and ULM, he completed 82.7% of his passes. Against Miami and Auburn? He was 58.2%
He’s also 2-5 against P4 teams.

Logically, it makes more sense to play Reed. He's a redshirt freshman, Weigman's a redshirt junior. Reed's the future, and he needs all the reps he can get before next year's insane schedule.

The extra run dynamic from Reed gives the opposing coach more to prepare for, I also think he fits better with Klein's offense. The same offense we are going to be running with Longstreet in a couple years. Conner might be a great kid but I think he has been given opportunities to succeed and just didn't capitalize on them. A big part of that that is on Jimbo and the crappy o-lines he put together but it is what it is at this point, time to move on imo.

True but now there is tape on them and will be easier for Elko to ensure the players don't underestimate them.
