I've stayed clear of this conversation but now T-Bird has gone and typed my EXACT thoughts. The arrogant fricks can wallow in their self created misery. Honestly RC I have always seen your perspective as some sort of midway point. In many cases you have the New Army priorities, but unlike me you can actually understand (and maybe sometimes agree with) the Old Army thinking. New Army/Old Army is less an age and more a philosophy IMHO. There is some dude today in the corps, who is like a 5th gen, who is as Old Army as anyone has ever been the way I see it. I could be wrong though, and I would appreciate a correction.

I am jelly honestly, I wish I could get this perspective sometimes. I think just being able to conceive the reasons Old Army had for doing things would fill in a lot of gaps for me. That is why I am almost excited about the offseason on this board, even though deep down I am scared I am a little too corndog to ever truly understand.
