If you have to rank your top three SEC seasons out of the ones we have had what would they be?

I figure everyone will have 2012 as #1, so really its about #2 and #3.

1. 2012

2. 2013 - was a letdown based on expectations, but JFF provided some real entertainment and we were heading towards a top 5 class that next NSD.

3. 2016 - Trevor Knight was in retrospect my favorite not JFF QB of the SEC era, and we got our first top 4 ranking in the playoffs era. Also beating Tenn was a lot of fun.

That game was insane and insanely physical. I think if you held that out as the only example of the sport of football the majority of people would vote to ban it. Everyone got injured. The hits were savage. It was ultraviolent. I loved it. I think it ruined their season and Butch’s career. Not just because they lost but because from then on they were too banged up to compete.

If Knight doesn't get hurt in 2016, we beat MSU and OM, finish 10-2 and Sumlin is probably still here.

Crazy how much impact one little thing like that can have down the road

Payback for 2004 Cotton Bowl :). Was at that game in beautiful Fair Park and just watching warmups you knew we were fricked. Those were different kind of athletes

Do you think we beat LSU in 2016 with a healthy Knight?

I was at StarkVegas for that game and hold the phone on us winning with a healthy Knight. We were sleepwalking the entire game and State was whipping our arse on both lines of scrimmage.

You're right--both teams were laying the wood.
