Emotions aside, Georgia lost this one. They just couldn't change it up and Alabama caught on.

He's had more than one. He tends to prefer quarterbacks who just run his system.

Ehh... lets see how good he is once there is some legit tape on him for defenses to gameplan.

His last two TDs had a little luck to them as well. The first didn't even hit the guy he was throwing to and the second was a massively busted coverage that every single P5 QB worth a damn should be able to hit.

Every P5 QB can throw a laser 40 yards for a game winning TD on second and long in OT if the national championship?

Not sure he's had any great ones, he's had a bunch of good system guys who benefited from having a stable of 5* rb's to keep an defense honest.

Might have been some luck in there on the first one you speak of but his ability to extend that play plus several others strike fear into opposing DC's the second one he's the reason the safety was out of position, he knew the coverage and baited the safety only to turn back to left and snap off a perfect pass over the top in stride. Pretty heady stuff from a true freshman that's only going to get better.

AJ McCarron was better than average. That's about the best I can think of under Saban.

No, every decent QB should be able to his a wide open WR when they have decent protection. There was nobody within 8 yards of that WR. The moment doesn't really matter TBH. If you are a QB at any P5 school you should be expected to hit that throw when its there.

Kyler Murray is not a decent QB, at least he wasn’t when he started for us as a true freshman

I said decent QB. I'll add the caveat that an option QB probably wouldn't be able to hit it but other than that? It's a throw that should be completed 9/10 times.

Just imagine if that had been an A&M QB. Now imagine they missed the throw. Would any of us say "Oh well that was a really tough one that hardly any college kid would make" or would we all be melting that we had a wide open WR to win the game and the throw sucked?

Tell that to Bama's kicker.

Ours would have stared down the WR thus not fooling the safety and would have chunked it up only to be picked off and lose the game and the narrative would have been how could he throw it there with the safety being over the top.

UCF received 4 first place votes in the final AP poll.

Something tells me that Mike Bianchi's bitch arse was one of those votes . That dude hates everything that isn't from Florida.

From this day forward, I will only refer to the football program formerly known as LSU as "Special Ed's BBQ Team" aka The Louisiana BBQ Coalition.
