Yeah, I feel like they could find better local bands.
Also, come student election times, I would avoid walking anywhere near the MSC like it was the plague

You also learn how to master the "I'm reading a text on my phone but not really" technique as well if you had to go in the warzone

That was this past week

I think it was because of that that I never voted for anything except the yell leaders... or I just didn't care...or I was just lazy. Maybe a combo of them all

Oh I haven't voted for shite ever at a&m
Everyone knows the corps five is going to win the yell leader vote anyway

That group irks me so much. Not what they stand for because I did become good friends with some of them but the identity crisis that the uniforms give most of the short, nerdy kids that join it. I think most of the fights I got in or almost got in on Northgate was with one of them

This board has made me look like an arse in college looking back in retrospect...oh well

I've never really interacted with any
My lone interaction was last spring. I was chilling on this dudes porch at like 2 in the morning and this guy in the corps was going off on how there is this secrect society at a&m. I have no idea

The only time I ever voted for anything was when our freshman class wrote in Ray Turner as our Class President and all took a collective shite on the two legit candidates who were seriously wanting to win

Of course Ray won, but Turgeon made him release a statement saying that he is honored to receive the nomination but is unable to accept due to his commitment to the basketball team

I had one trying to mack on my girl once with me standing right next to her. He had the Napoleon complex, all 5'3" of him turned all angry once I said something. He wanted to fight me so bad which got me laughing which only angered him more

That was right after I graduated then

Bunch o' damn Commies on this board, I'm tellin' ya.
I honestly couldn't have cared less about civilians at A&M for my first 3 years. To me they just got in the way when trying to get to class, and every one of the weenies who showed up for cut weekends used chainsaws rather than axes, as God intended. But zip year it all changed and I developed a deep respect for them for very politically incorrect reasons. The GSSO (Gay Student Services Organization) had tried unsuccessfully to become an officially recognized school organization but were continuously turned down. I think their main goal was to hang banners in Kyle Field along with the rest of you frat boys. The GSSO came up with the brilliant scheme to declare a specific day as "Blue Jean Day", in which every student should wear blue jeans to class to show their support for the GSSO. Well at A&M... I don't have to finish that sentence, right? For the Corps this was meaningless, of course. But a couple of the civilian men's dorms got together and produced literally thousands of T-shirts that they passed out around campus. And everywhere I looked on that day were civilian students wearing blue jeans and T-shirts reading "NO QUEER IS GETTING ME OUT OF MY BLUE JEANS!" It was glorious.

That wouldn't fly now
FWIW I have no opinion of the corps since I have had very little interaction with them

Of course you have. Half the guys here were in the Corps. Try to keep up.

Holy shite, tFlagship wins one game and the rant goes to shite instantly. We need to step up our troll game.

I have shite planned for next year

I prefer quality over quantity trolling.

I'm fine with letting them be the undisputed trolling kings
Our trolls as a fanbase are more strategic--they just carpet bomb the place

It's been a long time since I've seen them get this charged up. I like it.
