Aggie's O Line Suspect

I don't follow the details of the Aggies recruiting. Do they have any O Line prospects on the roster or in the recruiting pipeline? It appears they need to focus on this part of the game.

Need major improvement. Everybody has been pointing to 2020 as a year to start making significant progress, but if we don’t improve on the line, next year is going to be a disappointment as well.....

Thank God Colton Prater is out of eligibility.
Next year, they will be FORCED to play Matthews at center.

Look up the 2021 Texas OL recruits. 4 or 5 in the top 100 nationally.

At the same point, Jordan Jefferson was considered a 5 star offensive lineman. Now he is supposedly a DT and most of the fanbase wants us to cut bait. We have no idea how good of an OL class we will have in 1.5 years.

My understanding is that Jimbo likes to make young players earn their place at the table, and he will go with seniority if two players are really close.

In every game I look for an early spark that may push the Aggies to let's say a relatively easy victory over a lesser team or that they will put up a fight against a supposed "superior opponent". For example let's consider Clemson and LSU last year. It seems this year there is a struggle to get a running game established or to as fully as possible protect the QB in the pocket. I'm rewatching the SC game on Thursday to review my impressions but certainly the Aggies had their will against SC late in the game. You all know the next two games are so important in terms of character building. I hope I see the spark against Georgia. I saw that spark last year against LSU. LSU is rightly pretty cocky this year and looking to demolish the Aggies.

Ags looked pretty good Saturday between the 20s. But inside the 20 we couldn’t really do much running. SC looked undisciplined on defense. Had a couple of guys in secondary that seemed to be marching to their own drumbeat. Honestly had the look of a team that has a bit of a toxic locker room. They didn’t quit but they were pretty uninspired.
Inside the 20 vs LSU or UGA we are going to struggle running the ball. Really struggle. Our line is not good. That 300+ vs SC was fools gold.

If Freddie Kitchens gets whacked @ Cleveland maybe & just maybe Jim Turner gets another shot at A&M. Josh Henson is not cutting the mustard.
